He looked at least ten years older than that recently. Sad to see him go, but he lived a good life and worked right up to the end. I got a little chuckle seeing him in Twin Peaks reprising his FWWM character and driving Amanda Seyfried around (since he was her step-grandfather on Big Love).
He was pretty much great in everything he did -- and he did a LOT
Also, second Nostromo crew member to pass this year - and they went in correct cinematic order. Brett. Stay healthy and get your annual physical, Tom Skerritt.

A great character actor, who always stood out in even small roles. Glad he lived a long life.
Repo man's always intense!

Oh no! He will absolutely be missed. One of the more unique actors out there. Whatever he does - he always had a presence I enjoy seeing.
He was lucky to live to 91. Way up there.

What a fantastic actor. He will be missed.
One of my favorite roles of his is in The Straight Story. He's only in it for a couple of minutes and has very little dialog, but its a poignant scene anchored by his pitch-perfect screen presence.

Another loss to be felt, for sure. Even people who may not know him by name probably own at least five of his movies and they don't even realize it.

I never knew he had a small part in Godfather II as an FBI Agent until recently.
I loved his work. His cameo in The Avengers was hilarious

He had gone on long enough that I thought he'd last forever. Sorry to see him go!

I wonder if he could possibly get a posthumous Oscar nom?
