Oh, I get it. It's because they're black and have big penises. Hilarious.
Man, Jessie T. Usher looks completely out of his depth. Should've just had it be Jackson again and done a proper sequel.

Makes me wish Jackson was the solo lead in this, even at 70 (!), with the other two in support. Usher's character seems like so much pandering. "Cyber expert" . . . sigh.

Why is Shaft III calling Shaft grandpa? It is his great uncle.

Christian Bale has to come back and Elizabeth Banks has to get more screen time

Well, I'll give them credit for making Jr's character something of a mockery of coddled, virtue signalling millennials, but this feels like it might rely a bit too heavily on Barris' comedy background.

Gotta say, that trailer surprised me. Three generations of "Shaft"? This, I can dig. As long as the tone doesn't go TOO far into comedy this could be a fun ride.

Looks entertaining enough. Is this the first time that three movies in the same series (sequels, not remakes) all had the same title?

Watch people if they find that video of Bale in Shaft they willl accuse him of being a racist

Unless it's a nickname, I guess it means they are contradicting that small bit from the end of Shaft (2000) in order to make Samuel L. Jackson's John Shaft into the son of Richard Roundtree's John Shaft instead of his nephew. Which, if so, is kind of odd given that in real life Richard Roundtree is only 6 years older than Samuel L. Jackson.
The tone of that trailer for this is far too jokey for me and it makes the new movie seem more campy and like self-parody instead of a serious action movie.

When I saw it as a kid it didn't mean anything but seeing it a couple of years ago it was odd as fuck. Shaft would of knocked that motherfucker out!

I want to see this, but I think the formula of the new generation being too nervous or raw doesn't get me excited because who wants to see them take over when they're like that? Isn't that part of the problem with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?
