My parents subjected me to all kinds of shit when I was a kid, so I don't really know. The first boobs I remember were in Zapped ... were there boobs in Airplane? Yessir. |

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
I'm an old, old man and the first real nudity I saw wasn't at the theater, it was on a PBS broadcast of "Steambath" with Valerie Perrinne. I remember trying to take a Polaroid of it off the screen. I then heard that PBS showed British dramas that contained nudity that wasn't edited, which got me watching "Masterpiece Theater" if I thought the story sounded like it might provide the proper situations. That's how I ended up watching "I, Claudius", which was terrific and included nudity and graphic violence.

First sex scene? Maybe Bond attempting re-entry with Holly Goodhead in Moonraker. First boobs? My parents told me to turn my head for R-Rated stuff so maybe Airplane!

That is so hilarious and at the same time kind of endearing, reminding me of times when you'd put your tape recorder next to the TV to record shows you wanted to listen to again later.

Kind of a disturbing introduction to sex. |

Even though you don't see anything, I think mine was Rain Man. I was pretty young and I was probably just as confused as Raymond was. |

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
Cable finally came through our area in 1980/81, I think, when I was about 12/13. And we had HBO, so probably The Blue Lagoon or something like that.
Although I seem to remember seeing more boobies from comedies at the time, like Airplane, Stripes, Caddyshack, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, stuff like that. Probably because I was more into comedies than romantic movies, anyways. |
Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
"Ghost Story" (1981) is the oldest one I can think of at the moment.

When I was 11, my cool dad took me to see The Reincarnation of Peter Proud. I got an eye-full! My first R rated movie. Mom took me to see my second: Blazing Saddles. :)

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
I was 15 when the MPAA initiated the ratings system, so movies started coming out with nudity and sex and bloodshed, etc. at just the right age for me. The first sex scene I can recall seeing on the big screen was probably in IF IT HOLLERS LET HIM GO (1968), a black-themed melodrama based on a Chester Himes novel and featuring the stars of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS in supporting roles (Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter). The sex scene featured Raymond St. Jacques and singer Barbara McNair, who went nude for it. (She played a nun alongside Mary Tyler Moore the next year in Elvis Presley's last fiction feature, CHANGE OF HABIT.)

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
I don't remember, but 1985's Mischief with Catherine Mary Stewart's bush was a nice surprise, and Emmanuelle 2 (?) with the sizzling massage scene with naked Asian hotties.

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
First nudity was some martial arts movie. The camera slowly pans up (or down) a completely naked woman. There's a man watching her from a hot tub. For years I though the man was Bruce Lee, but maybe he was just the only martial arts star I knew growing up. Anybody remember a scene like this?

Re: Do You Remember The First Sex Scene You Saw?
Ursula Andress in "The Sensuous Nurse" from 1975. It was playing on something called the "Z" channel I believe, right at the inception of cable channels. Back to the movie, it hit all the right marks for a teenager with sex on the brain.
semi-NSFW (nurse lingerie): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074682/...nm_flmg_act_23 |
