Unique Bonus: Reverse Sheep questions will generate additional bonus (negative) points according to the following:
1 Unique is awarded -20
2 Uniques are awarded -15 each
3 Uniques are awarded -10 each
4+ Uniques are awarded -5 each

Slam Dunks {sd} Players have the power of multipliers in their hands. Each player is given five (5) Slam Dunks ({sd}) which they use by adding {sd} to the end of their answer. Your Slam Dunks have different effects depending on the question you use it on:
In Sheep questions, the {sd} adds 1 to the Multiplier.
In Reverse Sheep questions, you can use your {sd} to turn the question into a sheep question for you. However, if your answer is wrong, it does nothing.
Slam dunks cannot be stacked. Use one per question only or else they will be discarded. You cannot use two slam dunks to turn a Reverse into a Sheep and then slam dunk those sheep answers.

For this game, I consider "Disney" movies to be those released under the "Walt Disney Pictures" banner. Walt Disney Studios has other production companies as subsidiaries, such as Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Touchstone. But movies from those companies can be the subject of their own games (and we've had several). #3 is the only reverse question that asks for a movie (and Pixar movies will be scored as incorrect answers). For the sheep questions, there are no wrong answers (and no point penalty for not answering what I was looking for). Though give answers that don't seem very Disney-like at your own risk :D

I plan on leaving this open at least until the weekend. Hopefully we can get at least 20 players. I tried to make the questions so that you didn't need very specific knowledge to come up with answers.

Thanks ... I knew I forgot something in the rules. For #3, I only want Walt Disney Animation Studio movies (not Pixar).

For the sheep questions, there are no wrong answers. But I'd really like this game to not be about other brands that Disney currently owns (like Marvel EU, Pixar, Star Wars). Instead being about what people think of as "Disney" movies (which are typically released under the "Walt Disney Pictures" banner). Though I intentionally worded #15 a little broader (since there are already rides/attractions at Disney parks that aren't based on strictly "Disney" movies).

I edited the announcement post to hopefully makes things clearer.

I did edit it to try to make it clearer and read better (and I made it just about movies ... which I hope will make it easier for players to match). Though it's still essentially the same question. Now that answers are starting to trickle in, I won't make any more edits to the announcement post.

I hope I didn't make my addendum to #10 too confusing. My intent was for that to be a straight-forward question. But digging into things online it came to me that it could get tricky (and that wasn't my intent).

The difference is that question 15 used to be about Disney properties and now it uses an example of a non-Disney property. That's a pretty big difference.

I don't have the original question in front of me, but I don't think there was any reference in the original question about Disney properties. That might have been in your head, but I don't think it was there, I remember thinking that as I read it the first time. Now it simply names a non-Disney property that is already being built within the park to put that idea in your head.

I'm waiting on clarification for question 13. Does it specifically have to have 'land' in the ansnwer because there are sections in both DLR and WDW that are not lands but are integral to the overall park.

Also, on 18, the characters that appear in animated cartoon shorts and not just wear cartoon shorts, correct? ;)

I didn't say "name a Disney movie or television show" since the new Avatar attractions were the inspiration for the question, and there are numerous rides and attractions based on movies that aren't strictly "Disney". I reworded it to better suit the question as I intended (answers could certainly be Disney movies ... but they don't have to be).

Current lands (not those that no longer exist or are only in the planning stages now). If the same land just underwent a name change, those answers will be grouped together.

No, California Adventure is a different theme park (and answers from it will be considered incorrect).

I submitted my own emergency answers to Crocker in case we don't get to 20. I didn't play slams, so there would be no way I would win my own game ... unless your answers are really really bad :D
