Are there any movies you ignore or can't stand because they remind you of a special someone?

Whenever I see James Cameron Titanic it reminds me of the times when me and my ex saw it together. We both enjoyed it especially the steamy car scene.

Another movie is Mel Gibson's The Passion Of The Christ. I remember taking my ex out to see this movie and I remember many people still stood at their seats after the credits crying.

Spielberg's "A.I." Watched it with my wife and then discovered what she had been up to shortly after that same night. I don't think I would ever want to watch it again.

Why So Blu?

Nothing with my most recent break-up but with my break-up of 2011 I watched The Adjustment Bureau a couple of days after and Emily Blunt's character reminded me of my ex, because she was also a dancer. I also thought the film was fantastic and Damon and Blunt's chemistry was electric.

Can't say that I have. I saw Spider-Man (2002) with my first real girlfriend the day she dumped me. She actually dumped me before we went to the movies, if you can believe that. I think I was kind of in disbelief/denial. Saw it two or three times total in theaters that summer. I wasn't an easy break up for me, but I can't think of a single movie that bothers me because I saw it with an ex or a character in a movie reminds me of one, certainly not enough to bother me, and at times can remind me how much I've grown/moved on with my life.

Last of the Mohicans I saw it with The One That Got Away and for weeks afterward we'd exchange goofy memes of Daniel Day Lewis saying "I will find you" and images of Lewis and Madeleine Stowe embracing.

An American Werewolf in London reminds me of her as well. We watched it together, in costume, at a Cinespia showing at the Hollywood Forever cemetery. Because our outfits were so on-point, we were ushered to the photo booth to have our pics taken first and random people asked for us to take pics with them.

Mrs. Doubtfire. It was the evening before Thanksgiving. My mom died the year before and I had no other family. Holidays are hard by yourself and my then girlfriend told me after the last showing that she would be spending Thanksgiving with her family and that we were done. I had no way or time to make alternate plans for the holiday which really sucked. Plus, I really hated the movie too.
