The trailer for Get Out didn't do anything for me but this looks intriguing. If it is as close to that one in quality I will be satisfied.

That trailer had enough creepy imagery to make me interested!

I was catching Serenity last week at my local ArcLight theater and I saw two huge lines to get into the place - obviously for a private screening some sort and when I asked one of the people in line what movie it was for - they said it was for US. So looks like it's making the rounds before release.

Maybe those people were just selfish and didn’t want you to know what movie they were going into.

I wonder if this movie was inspired by Ice Cube's song "Us" off of Death Certificate?

Looks kinda arty. Like a mish mash of so many other movies, but in Peele I believe so we’ll see...

Sounds great! It's not even fair how talented Jordan Peele is.

He's an extremely talented director. The trailer to this didn't look great, but the reviews are gushing, so I'll give it a squiz.

It looks nicely shot and directed, but I can already tell where he's going with his social commentary in this one just from the trailer.

Feels like he's starting to develop a formula.

3/22. Looks like it was pushed back a week when it was announced it would be the opening night premiere at SXSW.

From two years ago:

But this is far from a one-and-done for Peele. He recently told Business Insider that "Get Out" is the first in a collection of movies he wants to direct that examine what he calls "social demons."

"I have four other social thrillers that I want to unveil in the next decade," Peele told Business Insider. "The best and scariest monsters in the world are human beings and what we are capable of especially when we get together. I've been working on these premises about these different social demons, these innately human monsters that are woven into the fabric of how we think and how we interact, and each one of my movies is going to be about a different one of these social demons."

Saw the twist a mile away. Watchable and quite enjoyable but nowhere as good as Get Out
