I still want a Rocket and Nebula Disney+ show. It's such an odd pairing, and they have five years of adventures they could tell.

That Insta post feels spoilery, on her part. Or a red herring. Who knows. Show me the movie.

I won’t be surprised if this is the last we see of this version of Guardians. I don’t think Gunn will do anymore of these and I’d be surprised if Bautista and Pratt stick around.
I thought I read a while back that Saldana is over being in space. Between this and Avatar she’s probably had enough.
I know Rocket is really personal to Gunn, so I’d guess he’d leave too. Plus I don’t think I’ve ever seen Cooper do press or show up for premieres. Maybe he’s just not interested anymore.

I didn't even think about that. Recently she had posted her hand in the blue makeup. She said she couldn't post her head in makeup because it was spoilery. So, I wouldn't think she'd knowingly post a spoiler.

I think she's just saying she currently isn't scheduled to appear in another MCU film, like none of the currently scheduled future films include her. Maybe her contract is up. So she honestly doesn't know if Marvel Films is going to put her in any more films.

“This is the end for us, the last time people will see this team of Guardians,” James Gunn told us on today’s Hero Nation about the franchise’s conclusion with Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 due out on May 5, 2023.
Maybe not the end of the characters or the franchise… but the end of this version of the GotG.

I'll be happy as long as she keeps playing Uhura.

She's done filming any more but we'll see her in the GoG Holiday movie and the Guardians will be in Thor L&T.

Both of those come out before GotG Vol 3 though, so the last thing she shot will be the last thing we see her in. She's not going to be shooting for any more MCU projects after her tweet.

I did say "She's done filming." I NEVER said she has additional filming. Look at what you quoted.

Maybe look at what you quoted. Like, I don't know if we're talking past each other or what, but the rundown is:

1) Karen Gillian said she doesn't know if, after wrapping on GotG 3, if that's the end of the road for Nebula in MCU or not
2) story wondered if this was a spolier (i.e. Nebula dies).
3) I wrote that she just meant she's done filming everything related to Nebula so far, and there's no other projects for her to film at the moment
4) You mentioned two projects that both were shot before GotG 3 and will be released before GotG 3, so don't actually contradict what I stated.

Re-reading my post, I guess I didn't make it explicitly clear that I was making the statements from her perspective, i.e. there's no future projects for her to film, i.e. there's no future projects that come out after GotG 3 that she's currently schedule to work on. You're right that we'll see her in a few more "future" projects from our perspective as viewers, but for her, the work with the character is done.

re: Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (2023, D: James Gunn)

She said she doesn't know if Nebula will return beyond this and that it's possible this is her final chapter.

If we take her at her word, it sounds like Nebula survives the movie and that she would be willing to play her again.

Of course, we're now dealing with a multiverse, so even if she does die, anything is possible.

Maybe even the What If version of the character.

It would mean she also wouldn't have to shave her head or get a bunch of shit glued on her face.

So Gunn won’t be able to take a break until when 2025? He still has to finish post work on this movie and then write and prep Peacemaker season 2 and the Waller spin-off.

While we're posting wrap photos, Chris' is simple and sweet.

So with the whole introduction of the multiverse (I haven't seen Strange) what are the odds they bring Gamorra back?

They already did in Endgame. She came back with Thanos and Nebula II in the third act. So there's already a time-displaced Gamora running around the MCU.

She was snapped away by Tony to save themselves and start fixing the timeline.

We did? Sorry, only saw Endgame once. Guess I should watch again at some point before GotG3.

I think the logic is that Tony's wish for the snap was "dust Thanos and his minions," but by that point in the film Gamora II was no longer Thanos's minion, so she didn't get dusted.
