Some dude went around FB groups and posted screenshots of the spoilers and got banned from them all and blocked by people who he was messaging with the spoilers.
These were groups he had been a members of for years What makes people do this sort of thing

4chan and Reddit had links to a 5 minute video and those started popping up on FB as well. Ahhhhh…., the interwebz

I liked this one, at the end :

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/f8X5Qj9jAAI?start=385" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But there are a lot on YouTube.

Creepy Hidden Message In The Latest Avengers: Endgame Clip

listen for yourself, the voice can be heard around the 0:48 mark, just as Thor stands up.

I had to put ComicBook.com on a 30-day snooze on my Facebook feed because that site is notorious for click bait headlines and has tons of trolls who will almost certainly ruin this movie. I'll probably have to unfollow them on Twitter as well.

We need to have a thread about such things, just to see how many times people have had things ruined for them. There are a number of people I work with who - for whatever reason - think it's "cool" to see movies on Thursday night and come in and ruin them for everyone on Friday before most have had a chance to get out and see it. Websites are as guilty of this as anyone, posting spoiler-ific taglines and photos all over social media the weekend a new film comes out.

The only medium I find these days where spoilers don't exist are books...since no one reads anymore.

i remember in 2007 that I was going to SDCC and the 7th Harry Potter book had come about about a week earlier. I blew through the book so that someone wouldn’t spoil it for me at the con.

The only spoiler I encountered was on a shirt, and it wouldn’t have meant anything to me if I hadn’t read the book. It said:

Spoiler:
”Narscissa Malfoy is my hero.

If you are trying to stay as spoiler free as possible, watch out for the toy aisle at Walmart/etc. I don’t think it is anything major, and it could just be a toy and not an actual movie event (they’ve done that before) ... but I saw something that was ... odd.

GOT was spoiled by the damn DJ on a station I listen to on SiriusXM
People should know that not everyone watches shit the minute it comes out. That's why we have DVR. To watch at a more convenient time for some.

I was definitely shocked when a local radio station morning show played a momentous moment from Sunday's episode not even 12 hours after it aired. The morning of the 26th and after is going to be a minefield even for the cautious.

I remember when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was released, and people were lined up at a Barnes & Noble for a midnight release of the book, and there were guys driving through the parking lot with a megaphone giving out spoilers.

A little kid in a wizard outfit ran up to their car and kicked it.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (4/26/19) D: The Russo Bros.

It is gonna be a rough weekend for me because I see the film on Monday the 29th and will need to stay away from tons of sites I check-in on a regular basis. I think I will stick to mobile games and pop in a blu or 2 to keep occupied so I avoid all spoilers.

I sometimes am nonplused when I happen upon a spoiler for a movie I am about to see but I am treating Endgame like The Sixth Sense, in that knowing the big twist ahead of time probably would have soured my enjoyment of the film.

I'm going to a sci-fi/comic convention the 26th-28th, and hoping to see the movie on the 29th. It's going to be a tough weekend wandering around trying to avoid spoilers. The same thing happened to me last year with Infinity War, and some people's costumes referenced key points.

I think I already have the trailers, tv spots and leaked footage burned into memory now. The only thing that's going to surprise me will be the end credits.

Cinemark added more showtimes for this week. Not sure if other theaters are doing the same.

Having no knowledge of who lives or dies yet, I want to go on record that I will be more than fine should Tony Stark die in this. RDJ, who was so electric in the first Iron Man movie and intermittently great since, has been sleepwalking in the role for years and has appeared totally disinterested in the part since at least Civil War. Getting him off the ever-expanding cast list at this point would be a welcome change in my book.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (4/26/19) D: The Russo Bros.

I don’t really agree with that about Downey Jr.’s performance. To me his character has just evolved over the films from being the guy who has to be the center of attention to still having a bit of that self centric attitude, but having more people and ideals that matter to him. I think maybe that’s subdued aspects of his character.
