Could anyone find some first hand reports of what it was like for the El Capitan MCU Marathon? I can only imagine how awful that experience must have been

If I went I would have slept through half of it.

How can a movie theater expect people to stay in their theater for 2 1/2 days straight and still not allow people to bring in their own food and drinks? Oh yeah, AMC. Sounds as if AMC was providing Subway or something of the like, but really? That should be a fully catered affair if they are pushing it as a full marathon.

I did end up getting a Godzilla trailer, so I was pleased about that. It's interesting how many different trailer iterations there are between theaters. I managed to avoid all spoilers until I saw the movie yesterday, but that was mostly due to being completely offline from Friday through Monday. The SciFi convention I went to didn't have anyone spoil it for me, either.

I feel like that marathon was just asking for blood clots.

That’s why you do foot pumps, ankle circles, like you’re on a long flight.

That sounds like a terrible experience to have for a movie if you were eagerly awaiting to see it. You would be so delusional and sleep deprived by the end it would take the enjoyment out of the whole thing.

Yeah, that sounds terrible. If I ran that theater I would never do that again.

Sounds like Stephen Colbert had a bad showing this weekend:

Been seeing reports of people getting beat-up over spoiling the movie. A crowd outside a theater in China beat some guy. A co-worker got his ass kicked. Serves them right for being dicks.

In case you need a review of the MCU before you go:

Maybe one or two others that I can’t remember.
I got those plus a couple of dramas, including one by the Russo brothers and an awful looking political comedy.
