I really have no interest in this movie.
The first one was good.
The second one was okay.
The third one was a chore to get through… it took my a few sessions over three weeks to watch it all.
… but I’m glad other will enjoy this.

I saw the preview in the theater for this and I'm glad it will be on HBO max. Don't think this would get me back into the theater again given the last couple of movies. If I am stunned by it on HBO max maybe I will want to see it on the big screen but being in a theater last weekend for the first time really made me realize how little I miss seeing movies in theaters. 
Not a fan of those kinds of crowds with the pandemic and all.

I feel similarly. I have a nice setup at my place. I want to see Spider-Man and will get to it. But I’d rather pay $50 and watch it at home. Impossible for Disney to do that, including the way you’d get a 24 hour window, and so many people share their memberships. But it’s a nice idea.

I got a ticket to see this in IMAX on Christmas day. I am not a big Matrix fan. I did like the 1st movie, but haven't seen it in probably 15+ years. same goes with the sequels. I got the 4K box set a few years ago for Christmas, but have not had the chance to revisit them.
I have an A-List membership and it's not costing me anything extra to see it, so I'll go the IMAX route over HBO Max.

Surprised there isn't more discussion about this since it's been on HBOMax now for a few days.
Still don't know what to make of it.
The effects were great, but I don't watch movies for the effects, I care more bout the story and this just seemed very convoluted to me.
Going to watch again eventually for a more solid opinion.

Meh, it was ok. The story was a bit confusing for me, found myself falling asleep during the slow scene, some camera effect was very weird almost felt like a live shots.

biggest problem with all of the Matrix sequels is that the "real" world is nowhere near as interesting as being in the Matrix.
