Re: The Matrix 4?

We'll see. I'm still have a tiny bit of belief because it's such a weird fake rumor. It comes with all of this information that is a) at least somewhat accurate and b) is not relevant to the Matrix 4 part of the story. On one hand, the debunking with Keanu not being there seems pretty definitive, but it's still...odd.

Re: The Matrix 4?

They should just have the machines reboot the Matrix again, and then the fourth movie could start after the first one. Problem Solved.

Re: The Matrix 4?

There was just a video posted a few days ago with Keanu interviewing on BBC News (where he talks about Sad Keanu), unless that was particularly old.

Re: The Matrix 4?

Henry's Crime is the movie he promoted on the Gaham Norton show. I remember cos there was also a brief discussion about 3D in movies. And Imelda May was the musical guest.

I was thinking last night how much information Keanu leaked out. Could it be that he spoke a bit too much of future plans that weren't to be talked about? Maybe that's why they saying now it's fake when perhaps it really isn't.

New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

not sure how i feel about this. i liked the original Trilogy, even though i haven't seen them in years...

http://latino-review.com/2014/02/exc...ilogy-horizon/

Little bit of background before we get into the scoop. The studios M.O. has always been to deny any story before all the “pieces” are final.

For example, J.J. Abrams and the Khan denials, the new Star Wars trilogy, ID4 Sequels are all news stories broken by fan boy sites that were denied and ended up being TRUE. We can go on and on and with more examples but nonetheless, the studios and its reps will lie.

The scoop! For years people have joked, assumed and even have posted stories about new Matrix movies being in the works to eventually be revealed that the story was not true… How things have changed.

There is an old saying in Spanish, “Por La Plata Baila El Mono”, which loosely translates to “For the Money, The Monkey Dances.”

Cue the music, the monkey is about to dance.

The Wachowski siblings have a very long history over at Warner Bros. but with the exception of the Matrix Trilogy, none of their movies have had great financial success.

Speed Racer/Cloud Atlas tanked and let’s not kid ourselves, by the looks of it, Jupiter Ascending will not be much better.

We’ve been told that the Wachowski’s have already started the writing process with early treatments and outlines already turned into the studio. No word if they will want to direct but my money says “Claro que Si!”.

Warner Bros. is desperate for a surefire franchise and will be making a push to have the new Matrix films ready to up against any new Star Wars and Avatar films by 2017.

So the big question, will Mr. Anderson be back? Who knows!! One of the early outlines was about the birth of the Matrix and now that WB is Terminator-less, some of suits would like to explore that early world but it’s way too early and the story is still very fluid.

I’ve been also told to that the previous animated Matrix films will not have any effect on the live action movies.

Will keep you updated with all the denials.

The derisive ending of the original Matrix trilogy include the bearded Architect suggesting that Neo wasn’t the first “One,” opening the story world for prequels.

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

Oddly enough, I was thinking about the proposed Matrix 4 Joel Silver threatened us with recently. As with nearly any other film being made, if it looks good I'll give it a shot. But, really, the series should've been a one-and-done kinda thing.

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

I have very very little interest in this. The Wachowskis are great filmmakers, but the Matrix sequels are their worst films by a long shot.

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

I've actually been surprised that another film hasn't happened by now. Honestly I don't really love the original trilogy that much. The Matrix is easily the best one and even that I feel is somewhat overrated personally.

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

I'd watch it. Especially if it's akin to Cloud Atlas just set in the Matrix universe.

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

The Matrix is one of my favorite films of all time... sadly, the sequels do not deliver - especially the pathetic 3rd movie. That said, bring it on!

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

A studio that owns DC is desperate for franchises? WTF?! It's not like they're Sony!

Re: New Matrix Trilogy on the Horizon!

How about remaking the first two sequels with scripts that don't suck this time.
