Movies that surprisingly haven't been remade
Are there any movies that you are surprised that Hollywood has not tried remaking yet? Some of mine would be:

-Universal Soldier: Seems like this should be ripe for a remake as it has a good concept.

-Romancing the Stone: Get Channing Tatum or Gerard Butler and Brie Larson to star and Hollywood could start counting the money it would make.

-Timecop: Seems like it could work as a middle budget action movie.

-Buffy the vampire slayer: I don't think it would work as a TV series again, but since so many people forget it was a movie first this could work as a remake targeted towards girls.

I think Gremlin is still in the works, but I think its Gremlins 3 not a remake.

The NeverEnding Story- I have read rumors its in the works, with Peter Jackson directing.

There have been so many versions of the classic Universal monsters; Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, Phantom of the Opera, so I'm surprised there's never been a Creature From the Black Lagoon re-make.

The Money Pit...and I hope they never do. Could you imagine a remake with Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer and a bunch of dick and fart jokes...yech!

That would be amazing. Neverending story is one of my favorite movies and it sucks that the sequels didn't measure to the first one
