July 24th 1987: The Lost Boys sneak preview at my local theatre. Even though I was only 9, my parents took me to this screening. God bless them.

I still remember dollar theaters. You never got the latest releases but it almost felt like stealing paying that little for a movie.

My Dad took me to this sneak preview as well when I was 14. The theatre was giving out free Lost Boys posters to the first 100 patrons which were the actual 27x40 one-sheet theatrical posters, not some cheap smaller-scale promo poster. I still have that poster today!
