Ian Holm is great in this, too.

^ All that stuttering and stammering from characters is one of the reasons I can’t say I love this movie. So grating.

Milla does an outstanding performance as Leeloo. There's a lot of range and she gives it all that leads to her top lining The Messenger. It's a shame that she's been mostly pigeon holed as an action heroine since.

I have a really warm memory of seeing this movie in theaters in London back in the summer of 1997, spending the day with a pretty, geeky girl I met the night before at a restaurant bar.

The movie is junk but it's such entertaining junk.

I love how they left in the take where Willis almost breaks character.
