Movies that have been announced, but you think will ultimately be cancelled?

What movies have been announced, but you think will ultimately be cancelled before any actual production on the movie begins?

I'm starting to think that "Ilsa Meets Bruce Lee In The Devil's Triangle" will never happen.

Several years ago, there was supposed to be a movie about those kids who made the shot by shot re-make of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Cartoonist (and Academy Award nominated screenwriter) Daniel Clowes wrote the script, but the movie never got made and I've never heard anything about it since.

Man of Steel 2

Something tells me it'll be morphed into Warner Execs Jerk Off to Batman: Again.

The Strangers 2. I also think Halloween/Nightmare/Friday the 13th one of those will not be released.

Friday the 13th needs a LONG TIME to write. Goddamn things are a work of art on the page. Teens fuck, girl lets her tits out, teens fuck a bit more, more tits, machete kills, etc etc etc. This shit is art. It needs to developed like fine wine from the way the producers are handling the idea of even writing the script.

Jason in the Snow. Blood in the snows. Perky tits on girl that could slice diamonds w/ them in the cold.

I don't think Disney will continue the Pirate series after this next one. I bet it's considered a failure and they kill the sequels.

So strange, with how much it made, it is taking forever. Also, on the Disney subject, Narnia. I think Disney gave the rights to Sony or something? And also, the sequel to Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

The Road House remake needs to die, I haven't heard any new news about it. That gives me hope it might get canceled.

I just finished watching the excellent Trick 'r Treat. It seems unlikely we'll ever get the Trick 'r Treat 2 we were promised a year or two ago.

Besides, the traditional Inhumans "royal family" really doesn't fit in with any of that, and a movie about random people with powers probably wouldn't work.

The MCU needs to take a breather after they wrap up Infinity War before (hopefully) ramping up another multi-film story arc centered on (again, hopefully) The Fantastic Four.

I should also add:

Goonies 2
Spaceballs 2

Although I don't think either of those have been greenlit - just talked about by their former directors.

Buckaroo Bonzai is going to be a TV series from Kevin Smith. After he re-imagines the movie, he's going to tackle The World Crime League.

Re: Movies that have been announced, but you think will ultimately be cancelled?

After the less than impressive box office take for the last Independence Day movie, I have a hard time seeing them completing their envisioned new trilogy (or whatever it was they have planned).
