Michael Massee Passes Away @ 61 (The Crow, Se7en, 24)
Very sad news to report as it’s making its way around that actor Michael Massee has passed away at the age of 61. No reason for his passing has been released as of yet.
Massee was known for playing FunBoy in The Crow as well as the sleazy massage parlor booth guy in Se7en. He also played Ira Gaines in “24”, appeared in “The X-Files” in the episode “The Field Where I Died”, and played Andy in Lost Highway.

The guy was a great character actor but I'll admit that every time I saw him in a show/movie, the first thing that came to mind was, "there's the guy that shot Brandon Lee". I wouldn't want that accident on my conscious but he seemed to be able to work through it.

Wow. IMDB lists his date of death as October 20. Seems like an awful long time in todays world of instant news for the story to not break. He was one of those guys that seemed to popup in guest spots on TV almost randomly. Instantly recognizable by face and voice. Most recently I remember him showing up on The Blacklist, and I really enjoyed his performance on the shortlived FlashForward a few years ago. I always got a bit of a Tobin Bell vibe from him, and will miss seeing any new performances from him.
