Most people probably look down on PUA techniques, but if you're trying to hook up/hit on some actress or whatever, I'd think extra measures would have to be taken, especially in a town like Los Angeles. Pass.

Oh, I'm sure now they do. But not 10-12 years ago. It was great. What fucked it up for everyone (in L.A. & Hollywood) was that the aspiring PUA crowd kept reusing the same old shit instead of developing their own routines and whatnot.

Well, I didn't know who Ms. Cole was, so just having the coke could have leveraged my way into her panties, but then maybe not. Lots of variables. My friend who picked up on Mena did it just to see if he could. Everyone around was like "the balls on this fucking guy." :lol:

Even if you were talking about Mena Suvari, I have to say that when she did have her topless scene in American Beauty, her boobs were bigger than what I was expecting to see. Of course, I'm not in the camp that believes anything other that a double D chest is akin to a "12-year old boy", like many on this forum do.

Umm, I think you are confused. Thora Birch has a decent set of tits. Mena Suvari has IBTs. Both showed them in American Beauty, but only Thora was underage at the time and has parents that did porn.

I never liked her nude scene in American Beauty, she has no boobs and no body. With that in mind as stated her marriages to much older men seemed creepy that probably turned a lot of hollywood people off in casting her in bigger movies.

Yeah, it's kinda like how when you're a college freshman, you've got the hots for about 90% of your fellow female classmates. You go to the 10 year reunion, and that number has dropped significantly. (for the sake of equal time, I'm sure the women feel the same way about the men, after 10 years of beer-drinking, they ain't the firm athletic Adonises they were when they began school either)

My life experience was the opposite. When I was in college I was pretty focused on hooking up with hot girls only. When I hit my 30s I was much more open to women with more realistic body types.

He has rebounded nicely, but thanks to his substance abuse problems there were some pretty lean years. I certainly wouldn't call him anything close to a household name or face. At this point, he's more of a "that guy".

The flick that got him back on track was There Be Dragons. It's a cool flick and there's a nice featurette where talks about his drug abuse and the second chance he was given.

Glad he's stayed clean all these years. I like him.

Speaking of Thora Birch, my daughter and I watched Ghost World on Amazon the other day.
It still holds up. It is funny -- watching that film, you'd swear that it was going to be Birch who was destined for superstardom as an adult, not her rather plain-looking best friend .
