This is why I chose to leave this question as it was originally posted. Do you pick a crappy movie, or will everybody else be picking the same crappy movie? Do you risk actually naming a good movie? Classic overthinking.

I think you could've accomplished the same thing by saying something like "Name a Marvel Universe movie." People could name the good, recent movies, or try to go obscure. They can overthink on that too. ;)

I myself go for factual questions for Reverses, and opinion questions for Sheep, but all Sheepmasters have their own style.

Lesson learned for next time. Yes, the Oscar question should have been a reverse. First time!

Every year or two one picks up a Sound Effects/Sound Editing Nomination. A few films have score nominations. Then there's the Make Up Oscar as well. It's more than you'd think.
.

How hard can it be to think of one? The Martian was just nominated for Best Picture a few months ago.

Yep, as you run more games (hint hint), you'll figure out which kind of questions you like to ask and tailor accordingly. But Sheep games are often unpredictable.

OK, one more before bedtime -- and to get us to the halfway point!

7.)We all know fan favorites aren’t necessarily “critical successes” though … Name a superhero film which received one (or more) Oscar nominations.

This will sound odd ... but I quit paying attention to the Oscars when I left the home video and movie theater businesses. I used to be hardcore on the Oscars, but I honestly have no idea about any Oscars over the last 10-12 years.

Um, that's not a superhero movie. It's not even a movie starring an actor who sometimes plays a superhero, just an actor who's best friend plays a superhero.

Sure, and the next thing you'll want to tell me is that it is not a musical and/or comedy. :rimshot:

X-Men in 2000 ... Sorry Wishbone, no nominations or wins (or points). This is as close as the X-Men get to an Oscar:

X-Men movies don't win Oscars; they hire Oscar winners.

Don't feel bad though Wishbone ... that wasn't the worst answer.

Crocker Jarmen and The Bus both nominated "The Dark Knight Returns."

http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...q3jwocm91y.jpg

I couldn't find any record of any Oscar nominations, wins, or even a movie by that name. Yes, they both booted it. But they matched ... -2 for each of them. Grudgingly.

For the record, "The Dark Knight Rises" also did not have any nominations or wins.

Jesus, I can't believe I didn't remember the title of that stupid movie. I know I must be one of the few people who didn't like it, but you'd think I'd at least remember it's name.

I actually had hope of pulling out of the bottom quad. That's it, I'm done.

There is a movie called The Dark Knight Returns, but it's an animated movie with no noms.
