I agree with Idris Elba as the choice.

I am hoping, after his enormous success with rebooting the Ghostbusters franchise, they let Paul Feig direct the next Bond with a female agent as 007.

My name is Bond. Jane Bond.

A little old for a reboot, 46. Not a marquee friendly name, yet pretty well known by now. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be great.

He's Danish, the producers aren't going to cast someone that comes outside of the British Isles (yes I know Lazenby is Australian)

as much as i like Craig and Craig in this role, i am very much up for someone who embraces the role and actually has a good time playing Bond. Craig is such a curmudgeon and comes across so. i know that is the way the rebooted character has been written, but someone like Brosnan seemed to always have a good time and it came across in his take on the Bond character. i loved Brosnan as Bond.

Wasn't there a thread about this already? Because I'm pretty sure I answered this question already. Cast the guy that came in 2nd after Craig -- Henry Cavill. He pretty much played the American equivalent in Man from U.N.C.L.E. which he was great at. He's done playing Supes anyway.

There is a poll thread Who would you like to see become the next James Bond? - http://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk/...ames-bond.html

This thread doesn't ask the question on who should be Bond, but I guess that can't be helped. It should be used for posting actual news pertaining to where Bond 25 and the franchise is headed.

Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell joins race to become next 007

JAMIE Bell is the latest surprise choice to become the next James Bond.

The Billy Elliott star, 30, has held informal chats with producers about replacing Daniel Craig in the iconic role.

Bond mogul Barbara Broccoli, 55, is currently making his latest movie Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool and has been impressed with his past performances.

Not "Fantastic Four star Jamie Bell"?

I don't think I'm ready for Bond to be younger than me.

Well, get ready. I have a feeling they're going to go way younger if Craig is replaced for the next one, and they'll sign whoever gets the gig for a 5-7 pic deal.

Evans is only a month younger than me. I could cope with that.

I wouldn't mind Evans as well.

Never really understood the love for Evans. He's an alright actor. Nowhere near where some of you suck his cinematic dick at. Good looking guy, no doubt.

Is there a film where he's actually... doing some acting of quality? He's alright from what I've seen but nothing really to wow me in his acting.

He was great in Immortals. He was good in Dracula Untold, The Hobbit films, The Raven, Three Musketeers, etc.

He's a cool cat.

If they are going for the younger actor then i could see someone like Nicholas Hoult being put into the part. But with the re-introduction of both Q and Moneypenny i would say its a bit stupid to make Bond as young or younger than them. In Skyfall there is the joke of Q being so young, so it would be very weird. Also, for me the character of Bond is always in his mid to late 30's. He is at a more mature age, but still young enough to be bedding women and enjoying the single life.

Henry Cavil would make a good Bond, he was great in the Man from UNCLE.

Not really. He's okay, but very forgettable in pretty much every one of those roles except The Hobbit, in which I liked his character. He did a good job with it. I remember being cautiously excited about Dracula Untold. I love the history of the character and it looked like the movie would be a good movie of it. Then we get that lousy pseudo-Castlevania type of crap. No thanks. And no thanks to Evans even getting close to Bond. Maybe a bad guy sidekick. I can see that.

I'm keeping an open mind as long as they get Craig out.

Jamie Bell? I like the actor, but he's short...like 5'6 or 5'7. No way they cast a Bond that short.

Take this report with a grain of salt for now, but Hiddleston is reportedly in negotiations to be the next Bond.

Though a lot of guys who do great...watching the night manager pretty much makes it a no brainer. He just needs about 15 pounds which will be easy for his frame.

I sort of thought we'd get Craig back at least one more time. I guess I'm open to Hiddleston if that's who they go with but I still have a hard time picturing him as Bond for some reason.
