Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby

Looks like a Kickstarter is going to fund an adaptation of Lullaby.

Palahniuk seems to be involved as co-screenwriter.

Boy, Kickstarter has sure moved far afield from what it was originally intended for...

It looks like shipping is now added in addition to your pledge. So a $50 pledge gets tacked with a $9 shipping charge.

re: Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby

So this was fully funded. Palahniuk has said that the script is with Brad Pitt for the lead role, but because of all his personal stuff going on, he hasn't committed. http://www.kptv.com/story/35112404/f...P_P7sU.twitter

It would be really cool to see Pitt in something smaller like this. Especially back in Palahniuk's world.

The only film adaption of his work that is any good is Fight Club. Choke was terrible. But I guess we'll see.

Re: Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby

This Kickstarter film has long been in a stalled out mode... The producers just sent out a message to the backers that Kristen Stewart is interested in joining the cast. I think that is great news. I love the work she is doing these days.

And I thought Lullaby was a pretty sweet book...Would also love to see Survivor get adapted, but given the structure it would be kind of tough...

Francis Lawrence was attached to direct Survivor a long time ago. I think he recently got the rights back and is working on making it into a series.

Oh, cool. I had not heard that...I guess a miniseries could work...I should reread that book, as it was one of my favorites of his...I also liked Invisible Monsters...
