I've never seen a Bay movie. Mrs Danger liked the Rock because of Connery. Of Snyder movies, I thought Watchmen was a dud, and 300 was mildly fun at most. Mrs Danger thought 300 was stupid but enjoyed watching muscular guys running around in loincloths.

My favorite film of the two is The Island, but can't go with Bey because. like JJ Abrams, he has a tin ear for dialogue, I don't remember painful dialogue in a Snyder film. Haven't seen the new film yet.

The only Bay movie I like is The Rock. Can't stand anything else he's done. (Although I haven't seen that war one from last year yet)
I like every film I've seen of Snyders.(never seen Sucker Punch) I mean, I don't fall all over myself adore his films, but I do like them just fine.
That said, Snyder is Uwe Boll when compared to someone like Jeff Nichols or Denis Villeneuve.
The only Bay movie I like is The Rock. Can't stand anything else he's done. (Although I haven't seen that war one from last year yet)

Snyder as I have yet to see a film by Bay that was any good.

The only thing Snyder has done that I liked was the Dawn of The Dead remake. Everything since has been consistently shitty. Bay's last Transformers movie was literally unwatchable. But I go with Bay as he has a higher batting average.

I have seen five Michael Bay films and liked none of them. I have seen three Zack Snyder films and liked (quite a bit, in fact) one of them, that being Dawn of the Dead.

I can't believe I only now realized they're the same guy - commercial directors with distinct visual styles crossing over to features and manage to string together a couple of very good & commercially/critically successful features right out of the gate. Eventually their largess goes unchecked and they produced bloated messes and then retreat to the safety of massive franchises that will guarantee large BO's no matter the quality of the films.
So, on that theory, I prefer Bad Boys/The Rock to Dawn/300, so I'd have to say Bay.
