I understand, but Hugh Jackman is Australian and Michael Fassbender is Irish, so that's what I was responding to. And I know some Irish people who would have a big problem with you calling them British.

I am surprised their was no poll option for Clive Owen, He would make a great Bond, just go watch Shoot em Up.

Maybe so, but I would still be happy if he became Bond.

I think Fassbender is the go to guy. Forget Elba. Good actor, but it is apparent that after moaning about having to return to film scenes for Thor: The Dark World he can be an ungrateful bitchy fuck when he wants to be. Craig has ended up turning into one at this stage in his Bond life and looks like they will be happy to let him go. He was great, but Spectre was so average when it should have been so great that i am also happy to see him go. Fassbender can bring the suave and the kick ass.

Anybody but Craig at this point.
I say give it to the guy who came in 2nd--Henry Cavill. He's done with Superman after BvS anyway. And he pretty much played James Bond in Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Have tolerated Craig in the past 4 films, but feel each has been worse than the previous one...

Dan Stevens
He's perfectly charismatic, looks great in a tux and can pull off action along with the charisma, as demonstrated in "The Guest".

^ I voted for Idris Elba but Dan Stevens is not a bad choice. I'm eager to see a Bond who isn't so fucking miserable all of the time.

I'll go Tom Hardy. Fassbender or Cumberbatch would be great but I wouldn't want to see them stuck in the role for a while. I love Hardy and I think a run as a franchise character would be good for him. He also has the physicality to be more intimidating than any other Bond.
If they dare go non-white then Idris Elba all the way. He'd be awesome but it is very unlikely. People lost their shit over a blond Bond. I think they'll bring Bond "back to normal" before they try something different again.

I can't imagine Cumberbatch in the role at all. He would not be believable as a womanizing sex symbol.
Hiddleston is an excellent actor but I'd rather see him as a villain in a Bond movie than as Bond.
My vote would go to Fassbender, but he may be a little overexposed at this point.
Unlike some others in this thread, I've enjoyed Craig's take on Bond. Time will tell if it holds up for me though.
