Trailer played pretty good, but that synopsis is exactly the problem I have with RR and the PR push with these movies. Trying way too hard to be Hi-la-rious and so out there. Always smells of desperation.

Having said that, the trailer makes me think the action could be decent.

Could not agree with you more. That synopsis is awful. Reeks of someone trying way too hard to be funny. (And it's not even funny)

So you think Ryan Reynolds wrote the official synopsis to the film? I somehow doubt that. He doesn't even [currently] have an imdb writing/screenplay credit.

The ridiculous synopsis seems right up this property's alley, so I don't see an issue with it.

When I first saw the trailer, I misread that and thought it said "From the studio that brought you The Devil Wears 27 Dresses"

Whoa. Haven't been paying attention to this, and I didn't realize this was actually going to become an X-Force movie. I was a big fan of that series as a kid, and that suddenly increased my interest in this movie.

Wasn't terribly impressed with the first movie as the humor seemed like it was aimed at 13-year-old boys. I'm that'll be the focus of this one as well, but maybe it'll be able to offer a little more.

See I’m not so sure. To me it looks like it could really go either way. I don’t think it’ll be bad but it does come across like a typical comedy sequel that’s trying too hard to top itself while having a lot of the same kinds of jokes/bits of the original. I’ll be seeing it either way though.

Deadpool and Cable will probably be in conflict for a significant portion of the movie, but in the comics, they are both heroes. I have no doubt that they will eventually unite against something else though. In the comics they shared an ongoing title for some time.

Jack Kesy was cast sometime back as an unnamed villain, which many are expecting to be Black Tom Cassidy.

I love the new trailer before Ready Player One which was especially fun because it was my first time viewing it.

Curious to see what the studio does with the whole T.J. Miller mess.

Probably nothing. Why do they need to? Yea the guy is slime but is that the studios fault? Did they know about this before he was cast? Then yes they have an obligation.

The whole Kevin Spacey thing with All the Money in the World probably isn't going to happen every time.

Re: Deadpool 2: Electric Boogaloo - blah blah blah

I don't think enough people know who TJ Miller (by name) is for them to care. Plus it's not like he fiddled a 14 year old and half the Old Vic staff.

I would think Ready Player One would have been more concerned ...

Probably nothing for this movie but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get cast in future films.
