Naturally, he and his best friend Clarence (Keegan Michael Key) fall deeply in love with the little guy, and their lives are turned upside down when Peele’s apartment is broken into and Keanu is stolen by a feared gangster. The two hatch a plan to pretend to be dangerous drug dealers in order to rescue their furry friend: bullets, bloodshed and a lot of George Michael songs ensue. Key and Peele star, along with Method Man, Gabrielle Union, Will Forte, Darrell Britt-Gibson, and Nia Long. Peter Atencio directs from a script written by Peele and Alex Rubens, and it’s produced by Key, Peele, Peter Principato, Paul Young, and Joel Zadak. It meows into theaters April 29. |

I love Key and Peele so I'll check this out but I'm not sure how they'll do with a feature length movie.

I never got that in to all the Key and Peele sketches that kept making the rounds, but their humor is mildly amusing to me. This looks fun.

I like them, they're not always funny but they definitely have a bunch of great bits.

For the fact that the entire creative staff of K&P is on board (including the show's primary director who made the show feel cinematic), this gives me the confidence that this might be something special.
That is as long as studio interference doesn't happen. |

Saw the trailer today before London has Fallen
Looks hilarious. I may actually see this one in theaters. Rarely see comedies in theaters, but I loved how over the top this looks. |

Release week bump. Not a ton of reviews out yet, but 75% on RT so far. I will see this one way or another...maybe catch a showing this weekend, or watch it months later online.

i think i might check this out, I have never seen anything from Key & Peele, and love the absurd idea of it. Plus it helps being a cat guy.
