I'm sad that this wasn't the box office draw K & P were hoping for. I thought it was delightful, myself. I bet you any amount of money that it will do better on home video and become a cult hit of sorts. It won't have the impact of It's a Wonderful Life, Blade Runner, A Christmas Story, or The Shawshank Redemption when it comes to movies that got a second life, but it will have fans.

Saw this today and thought it was hilarious.
Have never really paid much attention to Key and Peele or their comedy, but I thought they were pretty awesome.
The premise about these 2 down out losers looking for damn kitten around LA and hanging out with gangsters was fricking ridiculous, yet had so many LOL moments.
I was
when Key was acting all gangsta and thug like and the real gangsters never questioned why he was dressed like Mr. Rogers.
The Anna Faris appearance was quite funny.
Method Man and Luis Guzman were great comedic villains. I don't think this movie has much replay value if you've seen it once, but it's definitely worth watching. I agree they could have tightened it up a little and made this between 85-90 minutes. It didn't need to be almost 100 minutes.
I'd give it a B.

Blind bought it and watched it last night.
I enjoyed it a lot and laughed quite a bit. Some stuff fell flat, but mostly, it was pretty great.
Blows my mind that the cat was played by 7 different kittens. I loved the joke near the end...
I'm glad I watched it, and I'm sure I'll revisit it.

I thought it was hit or miss and could have used a trim. Some of the George Michael stuff and the homages to the 90's "hood" films were hilarious.

2.5 out of 5. Had some laugh out loud moments, but most of it was flat and involving. I like K&P's show enough but Keanu was a bummer.
