I really liked the first one and wanted a sequel, but I'm not sure about this one. The first one allowed for at least some exterior monster shots, but I don't see how that could work in this concept.

doesn't sound like it's gonna be a monster movie. there could be stuff hinted at outside but the focus is on the interactions of the 3 in that room.

I liked Cloverfield - in terms of being an intense found footage monster film but HATED the cast. The Blu-ray is phenomenal in the audio department, though.

I'm interested. Liked the first one but this one will be different. The trailer sure wants people to think it's related to Cloverfield.

Cloverfield is one of the best theater experiences i have ever had

Wish this was set in The Mist universe though, that'd be cool

I'm waiting for someone to recut the trailer with scenes of Desmond in his bunker, or just redo this trailer with the music that Desmond played.

After the thrill of hearing this is a sequel, the more I read about it the more this is becoming disappointing. Maybe if it does well we'll get a legitmate sequel.

What if very few of the scenes in the trailer are actually part of the real movie? Who knows what is really going to happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added in since the test screenings the cloverfield monster as being the cause of the city being destroyed.
