I hope its good, I've always been a Rocky fan and enjoyed Creed. My birthday is on Thanksgiving this year and I always make a point to see at least one movie that weekend. I need to see Creed II, Overlord, and Anna and the Apocalypse.

Saw it last week. Not as polishly-directed or well-written as Creed but still a crowd-pleaser.
Quite sure there will be a Part III in the future, but I really hope it would be someone else who would write it. Stallone understandably added the same formulaic segments that made the Rocky series iconic and cheesy at the same time. But for part III, please don't make it another revenge/vendetta thing (like Clubber Lang's kid wanting to get even).

I kind of get the feeling this is the movie this Creed franchise was actually built for. Not really sure where they go from here.

Just watched Creed in prep for Creed II this week. Creed is a solid film that falls just below Rocky Balboa. Rocky Balboa ranks at the top with the original Rocky to me. It really is that good. Really looking forward to this no matter how awful my reunion with Rocky IV was.
Jordan and Stallone have really good chemistry which makes Creed work. They are enjoyable together and it never seems forced. Gonna see this Tuesday or Wednesday with my son. Was kinda surprised at the Tuesday opening. Have there been many big title movies to open on a Tuesday before? I couldn't think of any right off.

I figured this re-emerged franchise chose to open on a Tuesday to get a jump at the #1 spot where the others have failed (Balboa got beat by Night/Museum and Creed got beat by Pitch Perfect 2) But Ralph will likely keep Rocky’s losing streak going.

It opens on Wednesday with Tuesday early showings. All movies are opening on Wednesday this week instead of Friday. It's pretty common for this time of year.

Monday night "openings" for Wednesday holidays do happen as well. (Since the official opening day is Tuesday)

Yeah, I saw the first Creed the Tuesday before Thanksgiving when it opened. And Robin Hood is opening tonight to try to get a jump on things.
