So it's actually two angels with Scott as the client or something? At least it mixes it up a little.
In some shots (including the screenshot above) Scott looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar. Am I the only one seeing that?

We actually like the McG films for the silliness they were, and wife has expressed an interest in this one. We were in high school during the Farrah Fawcett years.

I thought the trailer looked fun. I'll be curious to see the final product since this was written and directed by Elizabeth Banks.
The 1st McG Angels was super goofy, but sort of entertaining.
Hated the sequel. The one thing I hated about those 2 movies was the extremely silly No Guns rule by Drew Barrymore since she was the producer of it.

Oof, that did not look good. I actually like the first film a lot. I hated the sequel because they made the Angels "superheroes." I'll watch this eventually, but on home video.

No, seriously the trailer was kinda meh. Not exciting but not horrible either, just plain vanilla. The Barrymore films (which i like) weren't great pieces of film making, neither was the TV show. So the overall bar for this franchise its pretty damn low.
So I am definitely interested to see if a female writer can add some more realistic gravitas to those characters

I have been seeing the trailer for this a lot in the movie theater. I'll definitely catch a matinee when it comes out.

This looks like a cross between the anime "Bubblegum Crisis" (1987) and the Hong Kong action film, SO CLOSE (2002). If it turns out to be half as good as either one of those, I'll give it a try.

I like Banks as a director and it looks fun. I like the original movies and have no attachment to the TV show so why not?

The movie has Stewart in it, so I will not pay $$$ to go see this in the Theater. Home rental in 6 or 7 months.
