I know it can said about most (all?) horror movies but the Creeper is definitely one of those characters where the less you know about him the better. The first film was REALLY good until the Creeper's history starts to get explained. Once the mythology starts to unfold it gets really stupid, IMO.

As if it's not enough to be a creeper in real life. I'll be avoiding this film. Glad I don't own either or I'd probably get rid of them,

I've seen the first one and found it stupid/mediocre. I probably watch it again but I found it pretty silly.

I haven't seen the 2nd one.

So there's a third huh? I'll probably never watch it.

All these movies follow the same formula of Jason, Myers, Freddy, where the deaths just keep getting crazier and crazier.

According to a promo last night, JC3 is going right to SyFy at the end of October.

I guess they showed this for one night on Wednesday. It made about $442,000 from 669 theaters.

I thought the first was great....second was okay. Will probably watch the third anyway.

I guess I’ll record and watch this, but I hate movies on tv. SyFy is censored, correct? Anyway, as much as I hate pedophiles, I do watch and love Polanski films, especially more recent ones. Loved The Ghost Writer. I guess I’ll be a hypocrite this second time...

I just watched the last two as well. I forgot how fucking wacky and bizarre those movies were. I was super duper high when I saw the first one in theaters. The only thing I could remember was laughing during the whole movie. I'll wait and rent this one from the library when it hits DVD.

That's a pretty decent chunk of change for a movie released in such a low number of theaters for 2 days. That 'Friend Request' movie was playing on 2000+ screens for 2 weeks and has only pulled in $3.7 million total.
