A Supergirl and The Legion of Super-heroes movie would be incredible on the big screen. That is how you position a Supergirl movie so it doesn't feel like a derivative Superman rip-off for mainstream audiences. I'm pretty sure that is how Marvel would manage it if they were running DC's movies.

Please make this happen. If Vaughn does sign on, I assume he has the weight to have final cut and leave the studio out of f'ing with the film.
Edit: Someone on Twitter mentioned Vaughn had previously worked with Cavill on Stardust.

With Reeves on board for Batman and if Vaughn does Superman things could be looking up for the DCEU. Two solid directors. Vaughn hasn't made a film I haven't liked and X-Men: First Class is one of my favorite superhero movies (definitely one of my favorites of the X-Men films).

Moreover, sources tell us that if Vaughn for some reason doesn’t direct Man of Steel 2, Warner Bros. still wants him to helm another superhero movie in the DCEU.
