The stunts are still cool but they feel like Cruise just wanting to show off and top himself. I thought the coolest one was probably the one in Ghost Protocol.

That is a cool poster. Can't believe how consistently good and profitable these franchise has been. I remember seeing the first one in theaters in the mid-90s. And I enjoyed it. But never would have thought a 56-year-old Cruise would still be doing them nearly 25 years later at this point.

Funny thing is, MI3 was the turning point in terms of quality (IMHO) yet it was also one that made the least amount in the series ($398M WW, the next closest was the first one at $457M). Of course, that one was released coming off of the Cruise's PR disasters; the last two were close to $700M. Not sure if Fallout can get there, but possible.

This seems to indicate tickets are on sale. And I got an email from one Cinemark that tickets were on sale, but I don't see anything on Fandango yet.

I don't know how they keep these movies consistently good across 3 decades and different directors (2 was a huge mistake). The first movie is one of my favorite movies of all times and I recently watched Rogue Nation and it's a dame fine movie.

I like the first movie, but, as a fan of the TV show, the twist still bugs me. I enjoyed Rogue Nation. The one problem that I had with Ghost Protocol is that it was probably the most incompetent team in the entire history of MI. Nothing they did worked. Nothing against Paula Patton, but Jane Carter was an especially poor agent...getting people killed and screwing up every assignment that she had in the movie.
