It looked to me like most of the trailer was taken from just one part of the movie. They may still take this in a different direction, but just aren't revealing that part.

If not, then it will just be Jurassic Park 5: The Lost World 2: Fallen Kingdom.

Also getting tired of the sequences where the lead/hero is running away from and /or being engulfed in CGI smoke. Seems like every action film has one.

Seems like the Auralnauts got it right when it comes to making Blockbuster film trailers. There is a generic formula Hollywood follows.

Looks fine, it's delivering what I expect a lot of people want from a modern day dinosaur movie.

Not me specifically, the whole thing comes off as a bit like a generic action movie, but I can see what they're going for and I mean, Transformers: The Last Knight still made $600m+ worldwide.

They hammer home the volcano aspect so much in this trailer that, like others, I have little doubt they're keeping bigger things secret for now. He's not in the trailer, but BD Wong is in the cast of this, so perhaps the festivities will eventually move to wherever he escaped to last time. I just can't see them spending the entire show on the island, and if that volcano stuff was truly the climax of the film, they'd probably shy away from making it the main focus of the trailer. Perhaps destroying the island for good might mean any future installments -- including a big chunk of this film, I suspect -- will have to be set on various "mainlands", wherever those might be. I'm intrigued . . .

This seemed really over-the-top in a bad way. Dinosaurs are all running from a volcano, but one has time to stop to attack Chris Pratt? I enjoyed Jurassic World but this trailer didn't do much for me. It felt like some Roland Emmerich garbage.

This movie would be a definite hit with my 7-year-old self. I remember looking at dinosaur books as a child, and the pages I thought were the coolest were the ones with the volcanoes exploding in the background. I used to equate dinosaurs with exploding volcanoes as a kid for this very reason.

Looks even dumber than the previous movies, but I'll still watch it.

Pratt looks so weird the first time they show him running.

Looks ok to me, I wasn't a big fan of Jurassic World and this looks like more of the same, so my expectations weren't exactly high going in anyway.
