Wow...my expectations have been suitably lowered, and I see it tomorrow morning. The fun I had watching Incredibles 2 will have to carry over to give me a boost when watching the film.

Also really happy I can skedaddle when the credits start up.

I didn't like the first one that much despite it having Andy from Parks and Rec and the girl from Interstellar, don't have high hopes for the sequel. Might end up seeing this anyway

The original book was Michael Crichton warning us of the folly of man playing God. This movie looks like it doesn't have an ounce of that theme. Just an action/horror movie with humans running from dinosaurs and a lot of oh-shit shots.

Even if the 3D was good, would you want to pay extra to see a shitty movie?

It’s not a bash on you. I’m just saying the general consensus seems to be the movie sucks. So with that said, if for some reason the 3D added to it, is it worth even bothering to pay more... is what I meant.

Edit: and based on your post in the review thread you didn’t like it either. Was just trying to save you some dough.

Actually, good 3D can sometimes make a bad movie more tolerable. At least it can give you some eye candy while being cornholed in the brain...like this movie did to me.

After listening to a radio interview, I've discovered that Bryce Dallas Howard's voice almost sounds exactly like that of Mindy Kaling. Next time you see her being interviewed, close your eyes and imagine that it's Mindy talking.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately that seems to be the case nowadays. I've noticed the quality of 3D declining rapidly. The real eyeopener was Incredibles 2. CGI cartoon movies have ALWAYS had excellent 3D. I mean the medium exists in a 3D world already so the effects have always been spectacular. But not this latest one. I guess they are doing conversions for CGI movies now too? How disappointing.
