Works for me, looking forward to seeing how the rest of the cast shapes up. Glad Reeves took the extra time to develop a three film arc. (a first for Batman, as they had always been developed one at a time I believe)

Eh, I just see this as the best they can do updating the Halle Berry look. Zoe is okay, but after seeing her in X-Men, she was serviceable, but that’s about it. Good actress sure, but who are we kidding, this movie will be commanded to give the fans the action. Anything else will be marginal at best - you know, like an actual drama.

I would have been fine with Vanessa Hudgens, too, if that were the case. I didn't realize how short both are... RPatt is almost a foot taller.

EXCLUSIVE: We hear that the two-time Oscar nominee Jonah Hill is no longer in talks to play the villain in Warner Bros’ reboot of The Batman starring Robert Pattinson. Essentially, talks broke down, which happens on big pics like these. We originally broke the news that Hill was in talks to play a villain in the movie, either Riddler or Penguin. We understand Warners is eyeing new candidates already for one of those roles in the Matt Reeves-directed DC movie.
We heard that there was interest from the production in Seth Rogen for the role of the Penguin, however, but I hear no offers or talks occurred.

I neither loved nor hated the Kravitz choice, but I do think Dano is interesting. The Riddler was always my favorite villain as a kid (adult me assumes it was because of how Frank Gorshin played the part).

Dano's a better choice than Hill for the Riddler any day. Would love to see the Riddler done well, unlike the Jim Carrey abomination of the 1990s. I'd like to see some Frank Gorshin craziness mixed with a bit of Dano's There Will Be Blood fanaticism.
Hope they don't "overstuff" this one, if they're having the Penguin as well as Riddler and Catwoman.
