I fucking hated WCW with it's attempt to be edgy. It just seemed trashy to me. BUT... they did get Malenko, Mysterio, and Guerrero. And those guys were awesome.

With all of the time travel going on, that something can easily be rewritten in the next movie when someone time travels to prevent Doctor Who from infecting John Connor.

Time travel can fix anything, even bad writing.

James Cameron was an unofficial consultant on this movie. He said in interviews that he enjoyed the movie. He was interviewed in the 140 minute documentary on the BD (Best Buy version)

I think he's also the only quote on the Blu-Ray cover.

Cameron is supporting his buddy Arnold. Funny how at first he liked the third film (for which his buddy got paid ~$30m + 20% of global receipts, home video sales, video games, etc...) and now doesn't.

Surely they could have gotten Why So Blu to give them a quote:

"I guarantee you'll love this movie (unless you're a hater or a mouth breather)."

I liked the movie quite a bit, other than the Clarke that played John Connor. I look forward to the sequel.

Spoiler:
Since Reese technically gets to live now in this universe I don't see how John would send it back since he's now dead in this new timeline. There can't be a future John, so future Kyle Reese would be the one to send it back. That or even future Sarah sends it back. I don't think Pops would since he wouldn't be able to erase his own records.
interesting. thanks.

Yeah. I seriously thought I missed something but after watching the rest of the film... I just rolled with that they didn't show us for some reason.

Are they related in real life?

The sequel is now OFFICIALLY dead. Paramount yanked it from their release schedule (it's been replaced by BAYWATCH - yeah, that should be great) with no further comment.

Add me to the majority of the people who voted that liked Genisys. Thought it was a decent movie, we'll watch it again someday.

What's comical is that Baywatch will probably make a bit more $$ than this one.

Finally watched it and if seen as a comedy, it's not half bad. With the never ending causation loop, I kept thinking that they not only cross timelines, but they also travel to alternate Earths, taking the BTTF explanation and turning it on its head.

I thought the movie wasn't awful but I think the terrible casting is what killed it.

The casting certainly didn't help, but the Nolan by way of Back to the Future II plotting was already a chaotic mess full of plot holes and time-travel gaffes, desperately trying to hide how it was archaically outdated with its jumping chronology. The muddled mythology is a giant mess, and the whole thing feels like a pointless retread, directed by a TV-bred filmmaker. Cameron, love him or loathe him, is at least distinctive. Derivative, but distinctive.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (2015) -- S: Schwarzenegger -- The Reviews Thread

Just rented it too. Not too bad really. The dialogue was probably the worst part of the movie. Half of the jokes fall flat. The time travel stuff never bothers me, because there are no real rules for time travel. The special effects felt rushed at times, and the acting wasn't the best, but I blame the script for most of that. The action and time travel stuff make it for a fun ride. A decent rental, but I can see why this didn't do better. I just think this franchise needs to just end.

They're at least casting the movie appropriately.
