Caught this Sunday. JGL was great in the role, but the movie seemed pretty paint by the numbers as a biopic. I have to say I am somewhat surprised at how watered down Stone's material has become in recent years. "Savages" showed a few dashes of his brilliance, but lately he seems like he's just a director for hire . The R-rating for this was just for language, and the movie could have honestly been PG-13 with a few less F-bombs .

^ and for nudity - that chick that's in the Allegiant/Divergent flicks gets naked and there's a sex scene. She's got a smoking little body.
Just watched this last night and thought it was ok. I didn't hate it - and I agree that it was paint by the numbers and all that - but it was entertaining. JGL doing Snowden's voice was weird, because he spoke with a gargle almost. Nicolas Cage also has a cameo in the film. I think Savages was a way better film than this, though.

Savages is pretty entertaining, it's just some a good bit of the dialog is bad enough to make your brain hurt.

Don't get me wrong - Savages IS filled with shit and that's Blake Lively's purposely stupid and vapid character. She's the worst part of the film. Everyone else rocks it hard.
