Do set photos kill, or increase your anticipation?

Just wondering. With all the leaks of set photos that have come out from Deadpool, Suicide Squad, and Ninja Turtles do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing? Does it increase your excitement for the movie or make you less excited?

Depends on the movie and the photo.

Yeah it really just depends on what's being shown.

I'm more amazed this isn't an Oldboy thread.

Agreed, too hard to generalize. I like seeing set photos in general though, particularly for movies where we don't get a glimpse of character design until typically much later.

Yes, this set photo killed a lot of things for me.

This has been happening since the beginning of the internet and what made fat boy Harry Knowles famous. I could care less really, especially with those movies OP mentioned.

Star Wars, increase.

Suicide Squad, kill.

She's "The voice of a generation."

Seeing those damn digital "cameras" pisses me off ;). In all seriousness, now set photos are mostly just green screen stuff. It used to be fairly exotic, the lead up to a movie used to make promotional materials pretty scarce. Now you can find the smallest minutiae online, the mystique of that is long gone.

They neither kill nor increase my anticipation. Though I'm the type that prefers to keep as much of the production unknown if possible. I don't like the fact that every little plot point and character is revealed months before the first trailer hits.

Here's a novel idea: Let me find out what happens in the movie as I'm watching the movie!

Well considering I've posted many of the Deadpool and Suicide Squad set photos they certainly don't hurt my anticipation.

How much they increase it depends on the movie and the photos.
