How bout replacing Man of Steel's score with the 1978 John Williams one- or vice-versa? WTH, I liked it as minimal as it was.

And that decades later, NASA recordings of radio transmissions from the planet Saturn when transposed into audible frequencies sounded a lot like that score makes it even more amazing.

The Dead Pool is currently on cable TV and the score is sooooooo bad. Lalo Schifrin did such an incredible job for Dirty Harry, but this is just awful.

Yeah, these 2 James Bond movies definitely fit this thread.
For Your Eyes Only was trying to do something different with its score than previous Bonds and ended up sounding more dated than almost every other score in the series.
Yes, the following music was in an official Bond film:

Never Say Never Again being an "unofficial" James Bond film couldn't use any of the iconic themes and what it ended up with was not actually bad, but just didn't sound like Bond type music.

(When the ownership of its rights changed and it had the same owner as the rest of them, I had some hope that maybe they would revisit its score to mix in some of the Bond themes here and there to make it sound like a real James Bond film, but that was just a pipe dream.)

Goldeneye was the first thing that jumped to mind. I understand synth scores in '80s movies when that was a modern sound, but Goldeneye was 1995! What the hell were they thinking? It diminishes the film in so many ways.
Also, I was recently watching The Color of Money and it has the most milquetoast soft rock score I've ever heard. I cannot fathom how Scorsese didn't fall asleep sitting in on the scoring sessions.
