They both look like stinkers, and contrary to every Marvel movie, every time the studio releases more promotional material it makes the movies look worse and worse.

So which will come out on top, or bottom? Or does anyone actually think either will be good?

I think Jurassic World looks like it will be decent. Genisys on the other hand looks completely horrible.

JW already has a built in fanbase and will do damage at the BO. Genysis not so much...

Genisys will be far worse, as it has farther to fall considering it stars one of the original stars of the franchise. Plus, Chris Pratt's charm alone will make it a better movie.

Both will pale in comparison to Fury Road. Both will probably be better than Avengers: AOU.

I'm not sure which will be better or worse, but like the first poster said I think both will be entertaining.

Never had any hope for TGen.. I'm surprised how underwhelming JW looks. At best, they could still be silly, enjoyable movies...

Based on Trailers JW wins. TG trailer didn't do much for me.

Some of the dialogue in the JW trailer was as awkward as two virgins having sex, it sounded even worse. It was signposting things in mind-numbingly stupid ways. Not that what they were saying in the TG trailer sounded great, but at least it has the good will of having Arnold in it and the odd BTTF II within-the-previous-movie structure. They both look pretty bad. Though apparently some of JW is shot on film, so I'm willing to grant it a degree of good will just based on that .

It's going to be easier to fuck up a Terminator movie.

Jurassic World just needs to have a bunch of dinosaurs running around eating people. (As long as Peter Jackson stays away from it, at any rate.)

Depends on which Peter Jackson, the fat version or unhealthy skinny version. One is going to give a lot of cholesterol to those dinos. The other is merely an appetizer.

Terminator Genisys already played it's climax card in the recent trailer and well, that killed it's hope of being good for me. Now, I have no real desire to see it unless it's the only new thing on HBO.

Jurassic World, on the other hand, seems to be infusing new life into the franchise by taking a few risks but also keeping it's climax card close to it's chest. Plus dinosaurs eating other dinosaurs... finally.

Have you seen the clips/trailers? He seems to have phoned in his performance for this one. Not that I blame him, given the atrocious dialogue he was given.
