I was hoping for a remake of the Ridley Scott film.

Looks like this is finally coming out in the US. Limited release starting this week.

I've read reviews saying that Hardy is really good, but the movie is poor.

Saw this as well and it was cool. I think it suffers from the same thing as Black Mass does. Phenomenal lead performance in an average gangster flick. Granted, Hardy does it twice.

Pretty much my take on the flick. My wife fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through. Emily Browning was cute, though.
