Yeah, Conan is my least favorite interviewer and late night show, but when he does these cast things, I watch. He’s doing a few: Breaking Bad, Predator, Glass and this.

It goes back to the release of the ‘66 Batman series on DVD/Blu-ray/Digital. Basically Conan was one of the first to break the news of it coming out and a certain poster was very insistent that it wasn’t officially coming because it wasn’t a WB press release. You had to be there. If you dig up the thread in HD Talk there’s some back and forth.

I’m actually feeling pretty good about this movie. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint. Looking forward to the trailer soon.

I like Jame Wan, it is not a knock on him, but I loved Thor 3 and the dry offbeat New Zealand style humor in it, which i feel would work wonderfully for this character.

The opening sequence is cool, no doubt, but it's part of the reason the movie sucks. Let's show the aftermath of Statham kicking ass (whoa! he's a total badass!) and then spend two hours never seeing him ever kick anyone's ass. Bold move.

I agree, it was. But I'm a fan of Wan so no problem with him directing this.
As far as Furious 7, I do give him credit because he had a star die during the production, can't think of a more difficult situation to be in. Even so, I liked the movie and argue Fast and Furious was the worst in the franchise followed by Tokyo Drift (the only worthwhile result was Sung Kang as Han).

Those would round out my bottom three.
Of course, trying to make things work after Walker's death is admirable, but that was just one symptom of larger problem of the plot being terrible to begin with. That ending though was almost worth the price of admission. From the beach scene to the send off of Walker was beautiful.
All that aside, I'm excited for Aquaman. I really enjoyed Momoa in the role in Justice League.

For all the problems with DC, Snyder did a good job with casting Gadot (speaking of the Fast and the Furious, kind of forgot she was in like 2 or 3 of them) and Momoa, and I think if The Flash gets off the ground, Miller I think will be a lot of fun, especially with Goldstein/Daley at the helm, assuming it's Game Night Goldstein/Daley and not Vacation Goldstein/Daley.
That said, and taking it off-topic from Aquaman to the recently rumored characters in Birds of Prey, I'm glad they went with Cassandra Caine since, if a Batgirl movie does go forward, whomever will direct can choose, or at least have a say, in his or her choice to play Barbara Gordon.

So I'm cautiously optimistic

Thor 3 was fun but wasn’t anything mind blowing. I felt there was a little too much we-want-to-be-Guardians-of-the-Galaxy syndrome going on with it.
