We goin' back to the MALL, ya'll! Stan Lee, Jay and Silent Bob and Michael Rooker are making a number 2. Talking about in this picture, not the movie. I'm aiming for the movie to be good. (This pic was taken yesterday, as all four of us gathered to shoot a really adorable Stan-centric spot for Audi that you'll see online as we get closer to the release of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron.)

Clerks II was so bad I had to turn it off and haven't tried re-watching it since. I may try to give it another go though now that I've seen this thread.
Tusk was werid and grossed me out at some points but it's completely forgettable. Red State was awesome until you know.....the whole John Goodman lazily summarizing how everything ended.
Zacl and Miri was f'n hilarious.

Who did Michael Rooker play in Mallrats? I checked Wikipedia and it gives a character's name but I don't remember who that is.
I like the first one but when I rewatched it earlier this year, I noticed how bad some of the acting was.

Isn't Kevin Smith shooting like 2 or 3 movies before Mallrats 2? If he plans on Stan Lee having a big part in it, then he might wanna hurry up. Even though it seems he is in great health for his age he is 92 years old after all.

There's really no reason that Jason Lee wouldn't be involved.
I can't see Jeremy London turning down a paycheck. But with all his weird troubles, who knows.
Affleck, if he has time, he'd show up.
Claire Forlani is the only one I see really being any issue.

This weekend, Smith told a crowd in Toronto (for a Babble On taping) that he's filming MALLRATS 2 immediately after CLERKS 3, so BOTH films are going to shoot this year...Smith is delaying his other projects to get this done.

Haven't seen much of Forlani except in those Dewars commercials, where she looks pretty cougarliscious.
Wonder if Joey Adams (Gwen) and Renee Humphrey (Trish the Dish) will show up. Adams will probably be fifty by the time this gets made. Surely this movie won't be about a bunch of middle-aged slackers hanging out at a mall will it?

It will be weird to see Ethan Suplee as Willam that's half the size of what he was in the first film. I don't see his character's screaming at kids having the same impact.
