I actually saw this spandex'd piece of shit in a movie theater. I thought it was so cool at the time.

Yeah? Will I saw this in a movie theater when I was a kid. Even YouTube drew the line at that.

Oh yeah, that Hal Needham epic disaster. Looking back, it's head scratching how he was allowed to direct anymore movies after Megaforce.

I don't understand why this movie didn't give me a trauma as a kid.

Or more importantly, why I think this movie is way more fucked up than "The Terminator".

When I was a kid, I saw a film that gave me nightmares for years as at the end of it , the devil blows up the earth. That is all I remember of the film and it took me over 20 years to find out what it was:

I would have mentioned that movie, I just never knew the name. Loved that when I was a kid.

Damn. The Peanut Butter Solution. First thing I thought of too. Also, from when I was a kid...

1. Beetlejuice (and the accompanying nightmares)
2. Garbage Pail Kids
3. Time Bandits

This raises a good point... The films I remember from when I was 4-8 years old were all dark and sharp. I don't distinctly remember the fluffy stuff.

By the time I was 10, I was already an elitist film snob.

You weren't a child when this came out, you were probably already 30 or 40.

Found this a few months ago. Haven't had a chance to re-watch it yet.

I watched Fortress countless times as a kid. It's actually quite good.

I'll add Super Fuzz to the mix.

Quatermass and the Pit (or Five Million Years to Earth) freaked me out when I watched it on TV as a kid. Especially the finale.

The Challenge 1982. Cool martial arts flick that needs to be released on BD. It stars Scott Glenn from the Netflix Daredevil series.

Still a good movie. I saw it again a couple of years ago and it holds up and that ending is still disturbing.
