Quote: Yeah not a very exciting poster. I like that at least the mask looks like it’s seen forty years and isn’t squeaky clean.

It's a variation on a theme

There have been worse posters...

My body is ready. I'm such a sucker for all things Halloween. Except Zombie's Halloween 2. Fuck that movie.

I always felt that the series never hit its full potential after the first (and not including part III which i think is a series highpoint). Interested to see how these comes out though.

Yeah that’s by far the worst one. I hate the fact that I even own it (only do because it’s part of the complete set done by Scream Factory a few years back, I’ll never watch it).

Love the poster but... just "Halloween" again? I liked the "Halloween Returns" fan made title going around.

Works for me as a teaser poster. I like the weathered detail in the mask.

I'm not feeling the poster. But I am looking forward to this release.

I know I’m setting myself up for disappointment but this is one of my most anticipated movies of the year!

I’m digging the weathered look of the mask.

Jamie Lee Curtis promises new 'Halloween' will be terrifying, says it goes 'full-tilt boogeyman'

Full-Tilt Boogeyman would be a great grindhouse flick title.

Taken as what it originally was intended to be and not as an entry in the Michael Myers/Halloween franchise it’s easily one of the best. Hell I almost would say I enjoy it more than even the original. The original is a better film but Season of the Witch is a lot more fun to rewatch. In my opinion the first four films are the best with the third being good as a stand alone.

John Carpenter is doing the score.

So...we have a movie from 40 years ago with a particular title, a remake/reimagining from 11 years with the same name and a sequel that disregards everything from the previous movies (including the third movie that doesn't fit the fictional universe to begin with) (and also including bringing back a character that was killed off 16 years ago in the 8th and supposedly "final" movie that wasn't) that ALSO has the same name.

Goddamn, this is the wackiest franchise.

I suggest that every sequel they release from here on out should simply be titled “Halloween”.

That's exactly what James Cameron is doing with the new upcoming Terminator movie from 3 and up they don't exist.

So this will be regarded to avoid confusion as "Halloween 2018" for future catalog reasons I assume.

There was a test screening of this a day or two ago and apparently the ending got blasted by much of the audience.

Also, I got some story details from a friend and, well, it doesn't sound like Blumhouse is breaking the mold on this one. Still hoping for the best.
