Yeah, someone in the comments said it was Funny Games, with two hot chicks. I'll go a step further and say Keanu's character is a secret psycho.

This came out before Funny Games and probably influenced it. And reading that article is sounds like a direct remake/ripoff of this one.

Yea Death Game was intense. I liked it quite a bit when I was younger for obvious reasons...I have not seen it in many years however.

Death Game is such a product of its time, even though it was most likely only jumping the home invasion / Last House on the Left bandwagon.
What I like about the movie is the plot because its like an urban legend story. So simple yet very effective. We shall see how this translates in Roth's update.

On top of that I read that Peter Traynor (Director/Producer of Death Game) and Camp's co-star in Death Game, Sondra Locke have Executive Producer credits.
