Deep down I'd love to see what a (in his prime and alive) Toshiro Mifune vs. DDL movie would be. I do consider those 2 to be the best to have ever done the craft. Throw in Klaus Kinski and I think that trio would be an amazing thing to see.

I think you're in the wrong thread, you're looking for the "Biggest booze bag ever" thread.

It was Robert De Niro, once upon a time. He then decided to start mailing it in for a paycheck. I don't know what happened, but most of the big acting stars from the 1970s went downhill in the 1990s. I think it can be traced to Godfather III.

The guy who sold me a 1996 Buick Regal in 2004. Real slick.

I have always been a big Morgan Freeman fan. It doesn't get much better than his portrayl of Red in the Shawshank Redemption

I'm going to go off the beaten path and say Gary Oldman - I don't know anyone who can play so many different characters believably.

I agree, Robert De Niro's career definitely took a turn after that movie came out that he wasn't in.

I don't know about "Greatest Actor Ever"... but my favorite will always be Peter O'Toole.
