Cannon planned Joe II, a sequel to the 1970 Peter Boyle hating-hippies flick. A logo for it appeared in a 60 Minutes piece on Cannon Films.
Some additional info from IMDB:
Some additional info from IMDB:
Peter Boyle wrote a screenplay for a proposed sequel where Joe gets released from jail and has to deal with his hippie-like son. In the '80s, Cannon Pictures kept announcing each year for several years that the project was in "pre-production", though the project was ultimately scrapped.

I think we all know Cannon was pure B grade, put it was for the most part fun B grade cheese. American Ninja is still a real favourite of mine.

Is this the same studio that James Cameron wanted to do Spider-Man after his successful Aliens? I remember watching an interview with Stan Lee on tv long ago and said he was excited that James Cameron might be directing, but some reason it never happen. Would like to see how Cameron could pull thru with Spider-Man on the big screen that time.

I think Dutch Treat is the final version of Give A Girl A Break, it has the Dolly Dots in it.
