You have reserved seating? If so, just show up good 10-15 min late.

Re: Avengers: Infinity War (4/27/18) D: The Russo Bros.
As Avengers: Infinity War draws closer, we can't shake the nervous feeling that someone is for sure going to die. At this point – the film is less than two months away – we can't ignore that feeling any longer.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and screenwriter Stephen McFeely seem to be doubling down on death prep, to steel viewers for the inevitable loss of some of their favorite heroes.
“It’s safe to say we will say farewell to people,” McFeely said.
“The notion of an ending, the notion of a finale, became very intriguing to us, in large part because you don’t see it that often in this particular genre,” Feige said. EW pointed out that Disney has at least 10 more Marvel movies in the pipeline, but contracts for some of the original heroes – including Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America – expire in 2019.
As Mashable pointed out in 2017, killing off the original Avengers in acts of characteristic heroism is a cleaner ending than having them disappear or retire, thereby lingering in fans' memories with the faint hope of an elusive cameo.
So, friends, it's time to get ready for some death. But will we ever be ready? Will anything staunch the flow of our tears when the film releases? Will we lose one Chris or two? Will we make it to Infinity War: Part 2?
Avengers: Infinity War releases April 27.

My local theater has reserved seating AND shows limited trailers before each movie showing. Best of both worlds for me.

Considering we have seen many of the mains working on the sequel, I am betting several do die in this film, but are somehow resurrected with Infinity Stones in the next one.

Star-Lord and Iron Man
Baby Gamora!
I know it's been rumored and talked about before, but now I really think the Gauntlet won't be complete in this movie and that's what Avengers 4 will actually be.

But in that Comic-Con trailer, didn’t Thanos draw power from a planet to attack? I thought that could only be done if the Gauntlet was complete. I’m not familiar with how that works.

I think the Gauntlet will be completed at the very end, and the movie ends with the finger snap. What happens after will be Avengers 4.
Awesome moment in the trailer with Cap and Thanos. Hopefully it mirrors Cap's moment in the original Infinity Gauntlet comic where Thanos is slaughtering heroes, and Cap just walks up to him and says that so long as one man stands up to him that he cannot claim victory.

Both trailers have only showed 2-3 stones in the Gauntlet, so I think most of this movie is Wakanda and obtaining other stones. It just seems too much to have the full blown war with all the heroes together and conclusion in one movie.

So, is this going to be 8 hours long?

Need is probably a strong word. I don't imagine that there's anything integral to the plot that you would have missed, but my understanding is that a significant portion of the film is set in Wakanda, which was introduced in BP, and members of BP's supporting cast (also introduced in BP) appear in the film.

Re: Avengers: Infinity War (4/27/18) D: The Russo Bros.
So my guess on the timeline:
Thanos acquires the Orb/Reality Stone from Xandar at some point during or prior to the events of Ragnarok
Thanos catches up to the Asgardians and claims the Tesseract from Loki
(We see the blue stone placed second on the gauntlet after the purple.)
Thor and Banner somehow are scattered and warn the Avengers and the Guardians of the danger.
Thanos invades New York and Wakanda (where I assume Vision is taken) seeking the Time and Mind Stones
(Both trailers hint that he gets them, or at least Strange and Vision are in great peril)
So that's four. Unless one stone is hiding on his thumb, that leaves Collector's Reality Stone and the unknown Soul Stone unaccounted.

Well, they're saying that
Spoiler:
Whether that's just a rumor, who knows, but since a bunch of characters are going to get killed off - that may be one.
