This is what you get when a studio takes the time to build up to an event film, and I still believe that Warner Brothers has the time to reset the clock and in 10 years they can have their Avengers: Infinity War type film.
It is not too late for them to rebuild the DCEU as time flies by when folks are enjoying your films so while 10 years may sound like an excruciatingly long time to get to your mega movie(s) (if you split it in two) it is not.

It will be interesting to see how Marvel pushes forward once their 3rd wave of heroes appear.

Warner should just stop trying to chase Marvel and do their own thing. I said this in another thread, but just have a niche of doing smaller, lower budget solo movies like Deathstroke (he's popular enough of a character to warrant one), Nightwing, Batgirl, etc. (maybe even Cyborg) that will only be in the $40-70M range (as reference, Deadpool's budget was only $58M), maybe a bit more for something like Black Adam. And then every so often do the bigger budgets one such as Wonder Woman 2, The Batman, The Flash, Suicide Squad 2 in the $150-250M vicinity.

Looks great. It’s so cool to have watched these characters for close to ten years already and see how they’ve evolved and I still think it’s damn impressive how consistently good the films have managed to remain. There’s a couple that aren’t as good as the rest but overall there’s no major blunders in my opinion. The fact that this chapter of the MCU is wrapping up is a bit sad but I still look forward to seeing the future of Marvel Studios.

No it just looks disjointed and boring. Nothing we have not seen a zillion times already. I am not so in love with these characters nor a comic book expert that I am predisposed to like these movies, and I actually dislike the Captain America character, disliked Civil War and am bored to tears by Iron Man. Just looks like more of the same to me. Thanos just looks silly. I did enjoy GOTG 2 and Thor but for me each movie needs to stand on its own and this just looks really dull.

Calling it now ... Thanos sucks as a villain. How do I know?
Giant other-worldly being ... check.
All powerful MacGuffin to chase after ... check.
Desire to destroy Earth ... check.
Horns ... FAIL!!!!!!!

I'm tellin' you, Thanos does not look right without his head-gear!
They still have time to add it in post, and they should!

Thanos does not look scary at all, Ultron looked more menacing on the trailers, not sure about the actual movie though
