well, this is a bummer for me. Netflix will not carry this movie. Ant Man and the Wasp is apparently the last Marvel flick to appear on Netflix with the launch of Disney+ coming soon. I'm not very excited about this one so I was planning to wait to watch it for free despite the tie in to Endgame... i figure spoilers would abound anyway for important stuff in this for the next Avengers....

Seen the trailer in theaters and Bree's voice is just so whiny sounding for the bad ass she is supposed to be.

Doesn't make a bit of a difference to me. I'll see it at the theater. If I like it enough, I'll buy the blu-ray. Anything beyond that, I couldn't care less.

Yeah, but Tyson wasn't in a career where emoting and line-delivery was important.

I'm also not crazy about Larson's voice but I think this is gonna be a situation like the initial criticisms about Gal Gadot being too skinny for Wonder Woman. People, me included, were saying she was wrong for the role, then once we saw her in action it was like, "she's perfect!"

I'm sure once Captain Marvel comes out Larson will win over nitpickers like myself.

An older guy I know who knows I like comic books came up to me and said, "You know Billy Batson?!" I say sure. He goes off on how they changed Billy Batson to a woman! How they don't need to do that! We had a long, long conversation about the two Captain Marvels. I even sent him links. He still seemed mad, oh well.

So a few here have very lukewarm interest in this based on Brie's "acting" in the trailer? Ok.

I've seen that criticism mentioned a few other times, but don't you think that can be taken completely out of context? A few snippets of lines from a 2 1/2 minute commercial isn't going to give you complete context of those scenes and how they are conveyed.
